Our Commitment
Nordi Science is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We strive to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Conformance Status
We are working to make nordiscience.com conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The Site is currently partially conformant, meaning that most parts of the content meet the conformance requirements, with limited exceptions noted below.
Compatibility
The Site is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies and browsers:
- Recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge);
- Screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver;
- Keyboard-only navigation.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. Known limitations include:
- Some legacy product images may lack detailed alternative text;
- Third-party widgets and embedded content (such as the checkout) may not fully conform.
We are actively working to address these limitations.
Assessment Approach
We assess the accessibility of nordiscience.com through:
- Self-evaluation by our development team;
- Automated testing using tools including axe DevTools and WAVE;
- Manual testing with assistive technologies.
