BPC-157
Dosage
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157, CAS 137525-51-0) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide — a stable 15–amino-acid sequence derived from a partial fragment of a protein identified in gastric juice — and one of the most widely investigated compounds in tissue-repair and regenerative research.
Mechanism of action. In preclinical and in-vitro models, BPC-157 is studied for its effects on angiogenesis (new blood-vessel formation), fibroblast migration, and upregulation of growth-factor pathways such as VEGFR2, as well as its interaction with the nitric-oxide (NO) system.
Research applications. Tendon and ligament repair models, muscle and gastrointestinal-mucosa integrity studies, and neuroprotection models are frequent contexts in the published literature.
