GH Secretagogue
Tesamorelin
Dosage
Tesamorelin (CAS 218949-48-5) is a synthetic analog of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-44), stabilized by N-terminal modification.
Mechanism of action. In research models, tesamorelin binds GHRH receptors on anterior-pituitary somatotrophs, where it is studied for its capacity to stimulate endogenous growth-hormone pulsatility and the downstream rise of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1).
Research applications. A frequent GHRH-analog reference in growth-hormone-axis studies, including models of visceral adiposity and hepatic lipid (NAFLD) research, where literature has examined reductions in visceral adipose tissue in study subjects.
